Dr. Shelly Varod holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  She achieved a Doctorate of Human Sexuality from the private Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco.  Dr. Varod is very knowledgeable in the field of human sexuality; she writes, coaches and provides public speaking on topics such as sexuality in general, sex education for teenagers, dating and relationships, intimacy and intimate concerns.

 

Dr. Varod coaches individuals, as well as couples, of all sexual orientations and cultures, on healthy sexuality, body image, issues with intimacy and sexuality, relationships and effective communication.  In addition, she has created unique workshops for women, focused on sex and intimacy.  In these workshops she teaches women how to get in touch with their body, overcome body image issues, take charge of their sexuality and pleasure while developing healthy relationships.  

 

Dr. Varod currently coaches men, women and couples in a private clinic.  She also offers online sessions for clients who wish to work with her and live far.
